UNSW Protective Services and Traffic Management are responsible for the handling and management of Lost and Found Property. All found items are registered into the Lost Property database. Lost property found on and off campus is held at Security Operations Office Gate 2 for a period of one (1) month.
Please help us return lost property by writing your name and student number on books, notes, folders and other items whenever possible.
Perishable items, drink bottles and food containers will be disposed of immediately.
Finding lost property
Please hand in any lost items to the Campus Protective Services at Gate 2 or to any Security Operations Officer. Campus Protective Services will attempt to contact the owner by phone and email, if the owner is able to be readily identified. If the owner of an item is unidentifiable, Campus Protective Services will hold the item for one (1) month before disposing of it. After this period, if no claims of ownership have been lodged, the property will be disposed of.
